Many of us who have lived in Florida for some length of time are all too aware that the "Old Florida" is disappearing. Every so often, we come upon a place that time hasn't touched and we catch a glimpse of what Florida is all about.
I came upon this pathway while hiking near the Tomoka River.
The trees, the view, the pattern of shade, all reminded me of what I imagined "Old Florida" to be.
